A Phone Call From Princess Aurora

It's not everyday that you receive a phone call from one of your favorite princesses. That is exactly what happened tonight. Aubree was such a good girl today, so I made a few calls to see if Princess Aurora would be available tonight to talk to her before bed. At 9:15 p.m. EST, Princess Aurora called to say good night and to have good dreams. Aubree was so excited and now she wants Snow White to call. I originally had Snow White calling her tonight but she told me earlier today that she wanted Princess Aurora to call. I am so glad that I found Enchanted Calls through Disney Movie Rewards and arranged for Princess Aurora to call. I videoed the whole call so that I could post it and also so that Aubree can listen to it whenever she likes. I love doing these kinds of things for her and I look forward to doing these things for Laci. What a special evening!!!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween

Ryan and I took yesterday off to spend the day with the girls. We asked Aubree what she wanted to do and of course, she wanted to go to Disney. When we woke up Friday morning, it was raining continued all morning. We decided not to go to Disney but instead take the girls to Bounce Zone for a couple of hours and the girls had tons of fun. After naptime, Aubree asked if we could go to Disney since it wasn't raining anymore. Ryan and I decided that we would go to Mickey's Not So Scary but it was still ugly outside. We figured we'd to to Downtown Disney and then see what the weather looked like when we got there. Well, we ended up just going straight to Magic Kingdom and skipped Downtown Disney because Aubree really wanted to go. I really wanted to go too! :)

As cast people know, the new Tinker Bell movie is coming out next week and there is a new "meet n' greet" with the Fairies. Aubree is dressing up as Silvermist Fairy for Halloween and she really wants to meet the Fairies. I thought the meet and greet opened yesterday but if officially opens on Sunday. I was bummed and so was Aubree. We were just hanging out in a store and out of the blue, a Disney employee came over and asked us if we were doing anything in the next few minutes and we said no. He asked Aubree if she wanted to meet some of the Fairies including Tinker Bell. She said yes and he gave us a pass to meet them. There was only 50 families able to meet them last night. I was just as excited as Aubree! Pixie Hollow is beautiful and the Fairies are super friendly. We met Fawn, Silvermist and Tinker Bell. Laci wasn't to thrilled with meeting them so we stayed back while Aubree hugged them all and took pictures with them. I have some of them posted below.

After the Fairies, we were able to ride all of the rides the girls wanted to ride with hardly any wait. I love going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween because the lines are short and the weather is normally nice because it is in the evening. Unfortunately for us, it rained on us a couple of times but it did not ruin our evening. The girls had a blast and were super tired when we left. Ryan still doesn't love Disney but he was glad he went. He also wore tennis shoes so I didn't hear him complain about his feet hurting. Aubree and I are looking forward to see the Fairies again!!!!!

Aubree's Halloween Costume

As per my post on Friday, I went to Wal-Mart Saturday morning to buy Aubree's Halloween costume. We found one right away. She is going to be a Fairy. The fairy's name is Silvermist and she is one of Tinker Bell's friends. She is in the Tinker Bell movie that comes out at the end of this month. I have attached a couple of pictures of Aubree in her costume below. I am just glad that I was able to find something for her that she likes. She looks adorable in it but I wish it had something for your hair, so I will probably try to make her something for her hair. I need to take a picture of the girls together. I will make sure I do that on Halloween :)

Halloween Costumes

Last Friday I ordered the girl's costumes online after Ryan told me that I should just go to Wal-Mart and let the girls pick out their own costumes. As always, I did not listen to him and I ordered the costumes online. I found two adorable costumes for the girls. They arrived today and I was so excited, it was like Christmas Day for me. I ordered a Pink Tulip Fairy costume for Laci and a Glittery Witch costume for Aubree. I pulled out the costumes and immediately dressed Laci and we rushed outside to show Ryan. She looked so adorable in her costume (I posted a few pictures of her below). As I pulled Aubree's costume out of the packaging, I realized it was to small and it wasn't as cute as I thought it was going to be. I was very disappointed in the quality of the costume too. I am returning it tomorrow. I then thought about what Ryan said last week about taking Aubree to Wal-Mart to pick out her own costume. I should of listened to him but I just thought it would be easier to order them online that way I didn't have to deal with the crowds and digging through all the costumes at the store. Since I did not listen to my wise husband, I am now stuck with paying a 15% restocking fee on the costume and now I will be going to Wal-Mart tomorrow to pick out a new costume. I am trying to get her to wear one of her MANY princesses' gowns but they aren't new. What was I thinking!! I just hope we find something she loves and of course, looks adorable in :)

Day at Disney

All day I was thinking about what I should blog about next and then I realized that I just took the girls to Disney by myself. A friend of mine eventually met up with us and stayed a couple of hours before she had to leave to pick up one of her girls from school. Andrew and Meredith were at MGM and they came over to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours before we left. Ryan was worried about me taking the girls to Disney by myself and that I wouldn't have any patience. I actually have more patience with the girls while we are at Disney then I do at home. I know that sounds bad, but at home I have so much to do that I don't stop often enough to enjoy the girls. I am now making sure that we have a great day while I am at home and all the housework can wait. Going to Disney is all about the girls. We do what they want to do and we go at their speed. I brought a stroller with me but Laci and Aubree both walked most of the time. This is the best time to go to Disney because the lines aren't very long and it's not too hot either. We rode the Tea Cups twice, Small World, saw the Princesses, Mickey and Minnie, rode on the race cars, Buzz ride twice, and the people mover. When we were walking out, we saw Pluto and Dale, Chip was to tired to come out. We had a wonderful time just the three of us. It was also nice not listening to Ryan complain about his feet hurting because he wore flip flops to a theme park. Aubree and Laci both love Disney and would go every day if they could. I would take them every day if I could just to see their faces light up :) Those special moments are the things mothers will remember when they are grown and gone. I have truly been blessed with two special and wonderful little girls. They bring so much joy to my life :)

Copy Cat

I must say that I never thought I would be blogging, but since all of my friends are doing it, I am now going to follow their lead. Just call me a copy cat!! I have been thinking about using this as a journal for the girls. I am hoping that I will post at least once a week with an update as to how we are doing or at least post about what the girls are doing. I am excited to have Ryan's family view the blog since they live in Utah and haven't seen the girls since we moved back to Florida. We also do not talk to them often enough either so at least they will be able to hear what is going on and see how fast the girls are growing up. It's so hard to believe how fast they grow! This post is going to be short, since I am not sure what to write about now, but I'm sure that will change since I always have so much to say :)
