Two Beautiful Girls

I must say that we were blessed with two beautiful little girls. They are so wonderful!! They bring so much joy and love into our lives. Ryan and I have spent this week at home with them and we have enjoyed spending time with them. Don't worry, they have had their moments, but overall it has been a great week!!

Aubree's Christmas Dance Performance

Aubree and Peyton's dance class performed a dance for the parents and grandparents at their last class before Christmas. Meredith and I made sure we practiced with the girls during the week to make sure they knew some of it. They danced to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. They did a good job. I have attached the video. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We went to my Gramma's house for our traditional Christmas Eve. We eat dinner, throw nuts/candy, and opened presents. The girls had a ball. The nut throwing was a big hit. The girls enjoyed getting their pots and picking up the nuts/candy off the floor. Laci was very picky and only picked up the kisses. Aubree didn't like the nut throwing at first, but when it was over, her and Peyton took all of our pots and dumped them out of the floor to do it all over again. They entertained themselves for a good 45 minutes. The girls got everything they possibly needed/wanted. Carrie came over with Gina. The girls and I actually went to Gina and Carrie's house for Thanksgiving so we had already met. We had a very nice evening.

Our Christmas Tree

This year we have a real tree. Last year when we lived in Las Vegas, Ryan bought an artificial tree. I thought we were going to use that tree every year but Ryan informed me that we only got an artificial tree to use when we are not in town. We went the Saturday after Thanksgiving to get our tree. Aubree was so excited!!! She had the final say in which tree we got, not really, but she thought she picked it out ;) We had a fun time decorating the tree. Laci didn't have much to do with it but I was able to get a few pictures of her. I can't believe Christmas is a week way!!
